Ex-Mrs Baird's worker sues over alleged rape
FORT WORTH -- A woman identified only as "B" is suing Mrs Baird's Bakeries, alleging that while she worked at the south Fort Worth bread plant, her boss sexually assaulted her. The six-page lawsuit filed in Tarrant County court late last week does not provide many details. Chuck Noteboom, the attorney representing the woman, is running ads in the Star-Telegram announcing that his firm is investigating a sexual assault at the bread plant. Noteboom said in an interview Wednesday that his client had talked to Fort Worth police but that he didn't know the status of the case. In a statement, Bimbo Bakeries USA, owner of Mrs Baird's, said the company began an internal investigation before the lawsuit was filed and will take "corrective action" if the investigation finds wrongdoing.
