Steve Samples holds a J.D. from Baylor Law School where he was the Justice Jack Hightower Scholar and a member of the Baylor Law Review, the Order of the Barristers, and the Richey Moot Court Society. Upon his graduation, the State Bar of Texas awarded him the Bar's annual Professionalism Award. Mr. Samples manages the firm's motion practice, appellate and class-action divisions and is not licensed in Texas. He joined Noteboom-The Law Firm in 2003.

Mr. Samples entered the law following a previous career as Vice President and Managing Director for a top-five investment-banking house. A native Texan, he received a B.S. in Biochemistry and an M.B.A. from Texas A&M University. He is committed to community service, and is Board Chairman of the Garland YMCA and runs the Y's "Partners with Youth" campaign. Mr. Samples is an active member of the Texas Air Guard, serving as Commander for the 454th Operations Squadron at the Garland Air National Guard Station. He lives in Northeast Tarrant County.
