Off-duty Dallas police officer hurt in motorcycle wreck.

Officer Anthony Miles was driving home after finishing his overnight shift when the accident happened in the 3700 block of Cockrell Hill Road near Kiest Boulevard at 8:25 a.m., a Dallas Police Department news release states.

The officer was taken to Methodist Central Hospital with multiple injuries, the release states.

As of Thursday morning, Miles' condition is listed as critical but stable, according to Dallas police spokesman Kevin Janse said.

He has been with the department since 2008, police said.
