Worker dies after falling from billboard in Arlington
ARLINGTON -- A 40-year-old Boyd man was fatally injured Monday when he fell from a billboard he was working on near Cowboys Stadium, officials said.John Burnette was pronounced dead at 12:44 p.m. Monday, the Tarrant County medical examiner's office reported on its website.
The man fell about 30 feet around noon at East Division Street and Legends Way, just south of Cowboys Stadium, Arlington fire Lt. Pedro Arevalo told KDFW/Channel 4.
It was not clear how Burnette lost his footing.
