
A Texas man died late Friday night in a single-car crash on Interstate 35 just west of Davis in Murray County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.
Dead is Cory Daniel York, 24, of Coppell, Texas.
Troopers said York was a passenger in a southbound 2003 Mazda driven by Yaira Parra, 20, of Oklahoma City, that ran off the road and flipped several times. York was ejected from the vehicle. The accident occurred about 11:15 p.m.
York was transported by helicopter to Pauls Valley General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Parra was transferred by ambulance to the OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City in stable condition.
A second passenger in the car, Mikal Senn, 19, of Moore, was transported by ambulance to Mercy Memorial Hospital in Ardmore, where he was admitted for observation with head and arm injuries.
Parra and Senn were wearing seat belts, York was not, according to the OHP report.
