One killed, two injured in accident near Seguin

SEGUIN - A Kingsbury man was killed and his sister critically injured in single-car accident.

Wesley Berry, 28, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, which occurred shortly after midnight Monday south of Seguin on Texas 123. He was a passenger in the back seat of the car, said Seguin Police Lt. Jim Boeck.

The car was speeding south, Boeck said, when the driver lost control of the car. It ran into a drainage ditch and then flipped over several times.

Driver Colleen Berry, 25, was thrown from the car. She was listed in critical condition at University Hospital. Jason Medina, 28, another passenger in the car and the only one wearing a seat belt, was listed in stable condition at the same hospital.
