Sexual Assualt | East Texas father, son, accused of raping girl

LUFKIN, Texas - An East Texas man and his teenage son have been charged with the alleged rape of a 16-year-old girl during a party.

Clinton John Sr., who's 53, and 17-year-old Clinton "Bubba" Johnson Jr. were in the Angelina County Jail on Tuesday on charges of aggravated sexual assault. Jail records did not list attorneys for the Hudson men. The father was held on $150,000 bond. Bond for the son is $100,000.

Hudson Police Chief Jeff Burns says the attack allegedly happened March 5 at the younger man's home. The girl later told a school counselor. Father and son were arrested Friday.

Burns says the investigation continues into whether other males at the party attacked the girl, who allegedly had been drinking alcohol.

Hudson is about 130 miles northeast of Houston.
