MESQUITE, Texas - Police in Mesquite arrested a husband and wife, both teachers in the Dallas Independent School District, after they allegedly had improper conduct with several children.

According to police, 50-year-old Jesse Castillo was charged with two counts of indecency with a child and one count of sexual performance by a child. His wife, 46-year-old Virginia Castillo, was charged with one count of sexual performance by a child.

Investigators reportedly collected a significant amount of evidence, including electronic media, at their home in the 2100 block of Bridger Drive in Mesquite.

Police said it appears the victims were part-time employees at a children's party business that the Castillos operated out of their home. That business is no longer in operation.

DISD records show Jesse Castillo teaches at Comstock Middle School while Virginia Castillo teaches at Moseley Elementary School.

The couple is being held in the Dallas County jail on $150,000 bond.

Their 14-year-old son is now in the custody of Child Protective Services.
