Euless police appealed for help Wednesday to identify a bicyclist who was critically injured Sunday night in a traffic accident a suspected drunken driver on Euless Boulevard.
Authorities released a photograph of the man from his room at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth. He remained in critical condition Wednesday morning.
Euless police identified the driver as Bryany Ruth Hildreth, 30, of Euless. She was arrested Sunday night and faces a charge of intoxication assault, said Euless police Capt. Gary Landers.
Hildreth was free Wednesday after posting $10,000 bail shortly after her arrest.
The incident occurred about 6:30 p.m. Sunday in the 1900 block of W. Euless Boulevard in Euless. The bicyclist was riding a red and black Schwinn mountain bike when he was hit.
He was wearing an Ohio State championship jacket and red Nike tennis shoes.
Euless police described the victim as an African-American man, about 5-foot-10, about 140 to 145 pounds and about 30 to 35 years-old.
