Wrongful Death | Accident claims Mansfield man's life

An accident at the Pratt Industries recycling plant in Shreveport claimed a man's life Sunday.
James Gillis, 28, of Mansfield, was moving bales of paper with a forklift when the load became top-heavy and caused the forklift to overturn about 7 a.m. Sunday.
Gillis jumped off the forklift but couldn't get out of the way in time. The forklift fell on him, said Cindy Chadwick, Caddo sheriff's office spokeswoman. Gillis was a temporary worker at the plant.
