Hurst City Council to Recognize Outstanding Citizens
The Hurst City Council held the tenth-annual Citizen of the Year awards program March 29 at Hurst City Hall. The program will begin with a 5:30 p.m. reception at City Hall, located at 1505 Precinct Line Road.
The City Council created the Citizen of the Year awards program to identify and acknowledge Hurst residents who have made significant contributions to the City of Hurst. "We (City Council) are honored to award these designations each year. All of the nominees, each in their own unique way, symbolize the spirit of giving that has made Hurst such a desirable place to live and work," Hurst Mayor Richard Ward said.
