Born in Memphis, Tennessee, Sylvia Thomas Williams graduated from Rhodes College in 1972. She simultaneously became a Texan and flight attendant in 1973 and retired from that profession in 2005. She holds certifications in music education and biblical counseling and is currently seeking a Master of Arts in Counseling degree at Dallas Baptist University.

Sylvia works in the claims department at Noteboom - The Law Firm and also provides administrative support to the investigations team. An active member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Arlington, Sylvia has two, married sons living in the Metroplex. Her hobbies include tabletop and court tennis, puzzles, new recipes and gardening.
